Do I need an alarm if I already have CCTV?
They do different jobs. Cameras record what happened; an alarm interrupts it while it's happening and tells your phone immediately. The two together, often with security lighting, is what actually sends someone back out the gate.
Can the alarm cover sheds and outbuildings too?
Yes. Sheds, garages, fuel tanks and outbuildings can be brought onto the same system as the house, which matters on farms where the expensive gear isn't in the sitting room.
