Not when they're set up properly. Sensor sensitivity, height and angle are tuned on install so lights trigger on people and vehicles, not on every fox, cat and branch in the wind.
Are LED floodlights expensive to run?
No, that's the big change from the old halogen units. LED floodlights use a fraction of the power, and with motion sensors they only run when something is actually moving. Most setups cost pennies a week.
Should lighting be installed with CCTV or separately?
Together, ideally. Lighting placed without thinking about the cameras can blind them at night. Planned on the same survey, the lights improve your footage instead of wrecking it.
